  • 25 years of experience as a writer, editor, and designer
  • Educator and coach with five years of classroom experience
  • Published author and ghostwriter
  • Judge in multiple annual fiction contests
  • Award-winning designer
  • Mom of three girls, including identical twins
  • City girl living the country life
  • Favorite genre: suspense and historical fiction (because I can’t pick one)
  • Beverage: iced tea
  • Favorite pet: cats, but I have dogs too

I have over twenty years of experience editing fiction and nonfiction manuscripts, short stories, academic papers, and college entrance essays. In addition to work experience, my life experience and knowledge include a variety of topics such as religion, finance, education, animals, marketing, rural living, divorce, and music. 

My Skills

I am an established ghostwriter, developmental editor, line editor, copyeditor, and book designer. I help individual authors plus small publishers. I also design 3D covers, bookmarks, postcards, banners, and other promotional materials for authors and companies.

In my work, I use the Chicago Manual of Style (17th edition), Christian Writers Manual of Style (4th edition, and only when applicable), Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Word, and Google Docs.

I am selective in who I choose to work with. I am passionate about my clients’ stories, and I want stories that resonate with me. Many of my clients return for multiple books, and my client base is built on referrals from previous clients. (You can review testimonials on the Service page.)
